The throes of winter are upon us, but inside the Hall it's warm and cozy. Bill Enyart's beautiful paintings are adding beauty and interest to the space while private, public, and organization events are bringing people together in this vital and historic space.

Public Events

Breakfast with the Rotary Club
of Niwot
Thursdays, Feb. 6, 13, & 20
7:30 - 8:30 a.m.

The Rotary Club of Niwot welcomes all members of the community to their morning get-togethers at Niwot Hall. Breakfast and coffee are served at each meeting.

Saturday, Feb. 8, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Wine lovers and shoppers are invited to watch Bill Enyart, the current Niwot Hall artist in residence, as he paints another masterpiece. Learn about Bill's inspirations and skills as he works some magic with his brushes.

Dance Classes with Lindy
Tuesdays, Feb. 11, 18, & 25
Beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Participate in fun and fitness while dancing under the instruction of director-choreographer Lindy Bartruff.

3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Aerobic Dance Ignite your afternoons with fun routines based on simple dance movements. New routines weekly. No experience necessary. Walk-ins welcome. $15/class or 4 classes for $50.
4:00 - 5:00 p.m. Line Dance Learn standard and new dances with influences from country to hip hop. No experience necessary. Walk-ins welcome. $15/class or 4 classes for $50.
5:00 - 6:00 p.m. Tap (through Apr. 29) Welcome to Whole Body tap technique, vocabulary, and dance combinations. Some dance experience helpful, but not required. Registration is required for Tap classes.

Niwot Community Connection

In addition to updates on local news and learning what each NCC specialty group is up to, the February meeting features guest speaker Brenda Lee, founder of the Colorado Bear Coalition.

Brenda will share her 15 years of experience working with Colorado communities and Colorado Parks and Wildlife to reduce human-bear conflict. Learn why bears keep showing up, what’s being done to keep them wild, and how you can help. Bring your questions and ideas...let's talk about bears!

Music at the Hall
Sunday, Feb. 16, 1:30 - 3:30 p.m.

This special afternoon of tunes features up to 11 talented local artists performing their renditions of familiar songs with some original pieces thrown in.

The performers are by invitation only and the community is welcome to listen and enjoy the show free of charge. Complimentary refreshments are provided.
Niwot Historical Society
Now & Then Lecture Series -
A Call for Boulder to Reckon with our History & Build Right Relationships with Indigenous Peoples Today
Wednesday, Feb. 26, 7:00 p.m.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

This important lecture features presenters from the The Land Working group of Right Relationship Boulder. RRB aims to secure lands in Boulder area where Native people and tribes can reestablish a presence in their homelands.

The city of Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks department is considering how to develop the site of Fort Chambers, one of the staging grounds for the 1864 Sand Creek Massacre where 230 Cheyenne and Arapaho people were killed. RRB is urging OSMP to implement the wishes of the Cheyenne and Arapaho people and develop the property as a Site of Conscience.
