News from the Hall

Niwot Hall is operated solely by unpaid volunteers, and so it with great pleasure that we welcome several new volunteers to the organization. Gary Vahrenkamp and Greg Hangge have joined the Board of Directors, Liz Tobiason has assumed rental management responsibility, Barbara Bintliff will be our grant writer, and Rylan Bowers took on the role of webmaster.

Spread the word...Niwot Hall is looking for a fundraising coordinator to organize events and manage a team of fundraising volunteers.

We extend a huge round of applause and great appreciation for Kellie Beran who is retiring from her roles as vice president, director, and rental manager after many years of service, and Leonard Sitongia who has been our webmaster for several years.

A special thank you to Niwot's own Deborah Read Fowler (of DRF Real Estate) and Angie Miltersen (of A Few of a Kind Vintage + Mercantile) for all of their creativity and energy putting together events during the holiday season.

We're happy to report that fundraising efforts resulted in donations of $8,237 in December 2024 thanks to Colorado Gives, two Rebecca Folsom concerts, and the sale of Carolyn Bradley paintings displayed in the Hall. Thank you to all who have donated!

With all of this great news, 2025 is setting up to be a wonderful New Year for the Hall. Plans include improving the building and holding more events. High on the list are replacing the old firehouse building with a new and improved storage space for community organizations to use, adding a patio space that could be used in a variety of ways, repainting the exterior of the building, and creating a wedding party prep room upstairs. We also look forward to more wedding receptions and musical events.

Wishing everyone a very happy, heathy New Year with more time together celebrating, dancing, singing, learning, and connecting.
