Niwot Historical Society presents an exclusive lecture at Niwot Hall. Dixie was born in Louisiana and was one of 10 children in the family. She moved to the mountains of Colorado with her first husband and became engaged in mining. Eventually she became known as the Gold Woman of Colorado. Hear her story as part of Colorado’s mining history.
