Teja Gerken is renowned throughout the world of guitar for his stellar playing, compositions and arrangements. He is, undoubtedly a “guitarist’s guitarist,” with a unique combination of virtuosity and lyricism. Besides performing and recording, Teja has also written extensively about guitars, guitarists, and related subjects, first as a gear editor and senior editor at Acoustic Guitar magazine/ He has contributed to Guitar Player, Premier Guitar, Fretboard Journal, Akustik Gitarre, Gitarre & Bass, and other publications. He is also the founder of Peghead Nation, an online e-learning environment with video instruction for guitar, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, fiddle, bass, and dobro.
Niwot resident Michael DeLalla has been serving up a delicious brew of his solo guitar compositions and arrangements drawn on musical traditions gathered worldwide, steeped with his classical training and seasoned with his jazz, and folk influences. His fluency on classical, 12-string, and steel-string acoustic guitar showcases gifted improvisation and dazzling technical facility that never sacrifices the richness and poignancy of his compositions. He also conducts workshops around the country based on his book The Mindful Guitarist. where he explores the Creative Process through a range of topics, for both guitarists and non-guitarists, guiding participants through artistic principles we can employ to create a cohesion and connectedness in all our daily endeavors
