The main hall is all aglow!

New main floor ceiling light fixtures and sconces have been installed and the hall looks fantastic. The next planned improvement to the main floor hall is to remove the large mirrors, repair the drywall, paint, and install wainscoting making the walls consistent throughout the hall.

Thank you!

Huge appreciation for the time and energy of Niwot Business Association volunteers who made good things happen at the Lobsterfest silent auction held on June 8. They raised $2800 from this generous community from bids on the services and goods donated by philanthropic local businesses. The Grange was the fortunate recipient of those proceeds and wishes to acknowledge the NBA and the community for their benevolence.

Grange events

Wedding Planning Open House

Thursday, July 4, 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
The Moment Wedding and Event Planning, owned by Catherine Van de Boogaard, who was raised in Niwot, presents a wedding open house at the Grange. The main hall will be staged for a wedding and guests are welcome to learn about how this historical building could be their special spot to hold a micro-wedding, both in size and price.

With her strong connections to local vendors for everything an event needs from flowers to food, Van de Boogaard can organize an affordable and amazing dream wedding. The public can stop in to see the Grange in its matrimonial glory and find out more about having a once in a lifetime event in
Niwot’s most versatile venue.

Opportunities to be involved with the Grange

The Grange needs your skills

We're looking for volunteers: an Event Coordinator, a Volunteer Coordinator,
and a Grant Writer

Now that the non-profit entity Niwot Community Hall owns the Grange building, the organization is looking for volunteer assistance to organize fundraising events, recruit volunteers, and write grants.

If you have a desire to make a difference in the community, great organizational and people skills, or are adept at grant writing, consider becoming part of the volunteer team.

Please contact the Grange by writing to LeftHandGrange@gmail.com.

Walk in the

4th of July parade

with the Grange

Thursday, July 4th,
10:30 a.m.

Niwot's 4th of July parade epitomizes the heart of this community. Members of the Grange are invited to walk with the Left Hand Grange No. 9 banner and be part of the revelry of this patriotic holiday.

The procession is lining up at the corner of Niwot Road and Meadowdale Drive.

Meet other Grange celebrators there between
10:30- 10:45 a.m. where you will see folks with the Grange banner in space 20 of the line-up.

We will march out with the rest of the parade
at 11 a.m.

Rock and Rails Tip Jar volunteers needed

Thursday, June 27,
for the 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. slot

The Grange was selected to be the tip jar recipient at Rock and Rails. When an organization receives the proceeds of the nightly tip jar, they're asked to supply volunteers as concert greeters, to sit at an informational table at the entrance, and to assist with concert setup/breakdown.

This is an opportunity to tell concert-goers about the Grange and to raise much needed funds. It's always a fun time interacting with folks, having money thrown your way, and listening to the music. The headliner band will be One on One.

We have volunteers for the first shift, but need help for the second half of the evening
from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Please write to: LeftHandGrange@gmail.com.

***No meeting in July***

As has been our tradition in July, the Grange will not hold a members' meeting.
The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 14, at 5:30 p.m.

Gather at the Grange

The Grange is an excellent space for every occasion and event.
The audio-visual system (a large television, speakers, and remote meeting technology) greatly enhances and simplifies experiences at the Grange. The main level hall can accommodate up to 100 people and has an ample amount of on-hand tables and chairs. There's a full catering kitchen available for use. The upstairs hall can also accommodate 100 people and features a stage, wood paneling, and a very adaptable seating area. Free parking and WiFi.
